Tory is Founder and Managing Principal of Sheffer Capital, where he leads acquisitions, financing, asset management, and strategic direction. He has been active in real estate since 2015 and has focused on multifamily investing since 2019. Since then, Tory has been involved in the acquisition and ownership of more than 700 multifamily units representing approximately $72 million of acquisition volume, primarily across Southeast Michigan. Prior to real estate, Tory founded Superior Recreation Services, a commercial playground construction company, at age 19 while attending college, which he subsequently grew and operated.

Emmie Sheffer - Sheffer Capital
Emmie serves as Asset Manager for Sheffer Capital, where she oversees day-to-day asset management across the portfolio, including unit renovations and turns, property performance, investor reporting, and acquisition support. Prior to joining Sheffer Capital full-time, Emmie built and operated an independent insurance agency, which she successfully sold to a larger firm. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Communications, where she attended on a full golf scholarship.
